Twapia, Ndola

Mamuke Acts of Hope Initiative Zambia provides free lunch and a high-quality early childhood program to 40 children in the community of Twapia, Ndola. The program is led by two qualified and experienced early childhood teachers, supported by a dedicated teacher aide. Their work is strengthened by a staff member who prepares and serves meals and oversees the child-protection and wellbeing components of the program.

The organisation is guided by Director Mrs Esnart Kazhingu, who provides overall leadership, mentoring, community engagement, and full management of planning and finances. Her commitment and vision shape the heart and direction of Mamuke’s work.

The program operates from a rented house within the community. While this brings some practical challenges, it offers significant advantages: it is close to the children’s homes, highly visible, and deeply embedded in the daily life of Twapia — exactly where early learning and hope are most needed.
